This time, several small traders in Gintung Kerta, Karawang, say they received packages and cash from individuals linked to the program. The distribution was done on the spot without any official explanation. According to gathered information, the hand‑outs were given behind closed doors, with no details about the basis of the activity, its purpose, or the umbrella program under which it operates.
Some residents view such actions as raising concerns, especially regarding transparency and the motive behind the giveaway. One unnamed small trader said he received a package of basic necessities and a sum of money, but was given no clear information about the program’s origin. “They just gave it to me, without explaining what program it is,” he said.
To date, O! Save has not issued an official clarification about the alleged distribution. Neither the village government nor local authorities have confirmed whether the activity was known, authorized, or falls under formal social assistance categories. The public believes a clear explanation is necessary to avoid speculation about hidden interests behind the distribution. As of this report, further confirmation is still being sought.
